Laneige’s New Cushion Foundation packaging was developed by Amore Pacific’s design team, whose design puts emotional appeal front and center. The form of the cosmetics compact stays true to its function, a simple rounded square shape. The compact's top and bottom connect seamlessly, offering a good grip and positive feeling when held. The prior version was difficult to refill whereas the redesign allows the user to insert the refill using just one hand with a turn and a click. The new packaging also keeps decorative elements such as printing, foil stamping, and vapor deposition to a minimum, which makes the recycling of the plastic container much more environmental.
