i love bringing water with me to work in my hydroflask, and later making tea in it that will stay hot well into the evening! hydroflask bottles are made from a food grade stainless steel interior and a powder coated exterior. the bottles have no liner (as aluminum bottles would) and are BPA and phthalate free. they keep beverages hot for 6 hours and cold for 24 hours (we recommend pouring hot water into your Hydroflask for a minute or two to warm it up, then emptying it and pouring your hot beverage inside. warming it up in this way will stop the metal from initially cooling your drink when you fill your hydroflask). these bottles are wonderfully convenient to use everyday with your morning coffee, tea or smoothie. the bottle is double wall vacuum insulated which allows the contents inside to maintain its temperature for a long time. the insulation also prevents condensation from forming, keeping the outside of the bottle dry, so no worries about throwing it into your bag with books or clothing! they are designed to be light weight making them a great choice as an every day bottle or to bring on hikes. hydroflasks have a lifetime warranty!

care & cleaning:

hydroflask recommends handwashing. the heat from the dishwasher can damage the vacuum insulation and/or can discolor the powder coat. our staff regularly puts their own bottles nightly in the dishwasher but best to follow the manufacturer's recommendation.

don't put your hydroflask in the freezer or on the stove top.

the hydro flip lid and wide straw lid are top-rack dishwasher safe, but will last longer if they are hand washed. all other hydroflask lids should always be hand washed.

please do not use bleach or chlorine to clean your hydroflask, as these will ruin and rust stainless steel. if there is a stain inside your bottle, you can pour distilled white vinegar into your hydroflask and let it sit for 5 minutes or so - then empty the vinegar and rise your flask thoroughly with water. alternately, you can scrub the inside of your hydroflask with baking soda and a bottle brush to remove stains.
