Varina is an original teapot in fine glazed stoneware, entirely handmade and of very high quality.
More than a simple teapot, this object is a tribute to one of the most emblematic traditional figures of Lisbon and Portugal: Varina. It comes with an original story The 5 Varinas and the tea translated into Portuguese, English and French. It is a whole universe that is presented here calling on literary talent, Portuguese history and traditional crafts.
This original piece is part of the Varinas de Lisboa exhibition at the Pimenta Palace Museum in Lisbon.
