Your party is truly a "mixer" with this mid-century -- and oh so cool! -- motorized cocktail shaker. With the push of a button your cocktails are stirred in a whizzing motion. We're including a C-battery, which sits within the lid. Flip the switch at the top, and the stirring rod spins around all by itself! Cocktails in motion! This mixing glass is wonderfully MCM in its own right, with delightful white geometric designs that look like atomic white petals. The mixer/shaker stands 9 1/2" high with the chrome tone lid on. The embossed trademark on the exterior bottom reads: "TK Japan." We estimate this piece to be from the 1960s. Both parts of the chrome lid (where it fits on the glass base and where the battery is located) fit snug. This motorized mixing glass is in good vintage condition -- no chips or cracks, used lovingly. There is minor wear on the chrome and minimal oxidation spots on the lid. The glass has minor scratches from use. The battery compartment is clean; we replaced the original battery as discovered at an estate sale, tested, and it works! Care recommendations: Hand wash the glass to maintain its vintage look; do not immerse the mixing mechanism in water. For more photos, please contact me.
