The 4.75 lb a minute grinding speed is conservative and can easily be exceeded at home under the right conditions. Can a food processor grind meat? One of the questions we often get is, can a food processor grind meat? The answer to this question is that while a food processor can break down meat, it cannot grind it. By using a food processor you will quickly lose particle definition in the meat and you will overstress the proteins. There is a reason we recommend that you grind your meat twice, the first grind should be through a large 3/8” plate to prevent the fats in the meat from smearing. Weston Butcher Series Grinders Review

There is no such thing as overkill, especially when you’re talking horsepower and protein, but this one’s close. Invite friends, family, neighbors, hell, anyone you trust with a knife, and you still might not be able to keep up with its monstrous 1.5-HP motor that generates up to 18 lbs. of ground meat per minute. It’s your all-stainless throne at the top of the food chain, heavy-duty down to the last spring and bolt, and built for a lifetime of grinding and sausage parties deluxe.
