This 8 qt. pasta cooker is constructed with durable 22 gauge stainless steel and features an aluminum-clad bottom that attract and evenly distributes heat, thus eliminating hot spots. Thanks to its 4 mm thick aluminum core, this stock pot delivers quick and even heat distribution to the bottom and sides of the pot to eliminate hot spots, and is usable with induction, standard gas, and electric cooktops. This pasta cooker ships complete with a flat cover that helps retain moisture while cooking and helps to capture heat, resulting in more efficient cooking. Also included is a perforated strainer to allow an ideal stream flow while still containing food. When the food is done, the strainer lifts out to easily drain the water from the pasta. The cooker's handles are welded on to provide a secure connection to the stock pot, which ensures long-lasting quality in commercial settings. This feature also helps eliminate bacteria collection.
