Marked in the bottom '8 W', we are able to determine the manufacturing date between the 1940s-1970s (that is when the Lodge produced skillets with a fire ring and three notches). The smaller 8 skillet is a bit rougher indicating it was likely made in the 1990s and pre-seasoned. Marked with the Lodge logo on the bottom with USA 68K, it has no heat ring.
