This vintage cast iron skillet is just ready to whip up a batch of your favorite cast iron skillet recipes! My favorites and can't live without my cast iron skillet recipes are my homemade cornbread and my grandmother's recipe for pineapple upside down cake. I'm sure you have your own! This is a great skillet made by the legendary Lodge. From the tiny town of South Pittsburg, Tennessee they have been producing an American favorite cookware for well over 100 years. This is a vintage Lodge skillet. It has the trademark tear drop handle and a pour spout on each side. On the underside it has a three notch heat ring. Made in the mold it has the Lodge logo, states "8" Skillet", and near the heat ring is stamped "USA D3 5SK". This cast iron skillet measures 8" round, 8 1/2" spout to spout, 12 1/2" from handle to rim and stands 2" tall. This skillet is in excellent vintage condition. It is seasoned well and works incredibly well for those recipes. I just have too many of them! This skillet is a perfect size for those smaller recipes and can be used stove top to oven. And so easy to clean you'll wonder why you hadn't had this one before! Please look over all of my photos as they are part of my description.
