J channel is powder coated aluminum, 3 tall, and can easily be cut or drilled through to attach. The existing holes in the J channel are powder coat holes, we recommend drilling holes based on locations of framing members or other solid attachment points in your van. Fasteners of your choice can be used. J channel was originally designed to hang beds, so is rugged enough for your hanging bags!
