This pair of vintage Anchor Hocking Blue Glass Nesting Bowls are a deep sapphire blue/cobalt blue color. They have a very functional deep, high sided shape and sit flush inside one another for space saving storage. They are the perfect compliment to any blue glass collectors kitchen. The bottoms read: Anchor Ovenware, MIXING BOWL, Oven & Microwave safe, USA, NOSTOVETOP OR BROILER USE The set includes two bowls: 1 quart - diameter 6.6" height 3.5" 1.5 quart - diameter 7.4" height 3.75" Combined Weight - 1455g The bowls are in great vintage condition with no breaks, cracks, chips or nicks to the glass. There are almost no contact scratches on the underside bottoms and only very minimal scratches to the inside bottoms from gentle use. They look to have not been used very much. The upper rim of the larger bowl has a few bubbles in the glass formed during production ( see photo #9). Please see photos to confirm condition.
